Online and Telephone Counselling
in the UK and Worldwide
Online and telephone counselling offers the same professional support as in-person therapy, with the added flexibility of accessing sessions from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
At Hand in Hand Therapy, online sessions are delivered securely via Microsoft Teams. Alternatively, counselling can take place by telephone, either through WhatsApp call or a standard phone call. If you choose to use Microsoft Teams but would prefer not to be on camera, the camera can be turned off, allowing you to focus on the conversation in a way that feels more comfortable.
Remote counselling makes it possible to access support across the UK and internationally, without the need to travel. Many people choose online or telephone counselling if they have busy schedules, mobility difficulties, childcare responsibilities, or limited access to local counselling services. Others simply find it easier to talk from the familiarity of their own home.
Online and telephone counselling provides a flexible and accessible way to receive professional support while maintaining the same standards of confidentiality and care as face-to-face therapy.

Is This Approach Right for Me?
Many people find it helpful to talk from a familiar and comfortable environment. Being in your own space can sometimes make it easier to relax and speak openly about what is on your mind.
This approach may suit you if you:
Prefer speaking from the comfort and privacy of your own home
Have a busy schedule and need greater flexibility around work or family commitments
Travel frequently or have changing routines
Live outside the local area or outside the UK but would still like access to counselling
Work away from home and may need to attend sessions from an office or private meeting room
Find it easier to talk without being face to face
For many people, remote counselling offers a flexible way to access support without needing to travel. Sessions aim to provide a calm, confidential space where you can talk freely and feel heard.
